Terms of service
Last updated September 2026
These terms cover your use of teetowall.com, the plotting tool, and any print or file you order from Tee to Wall. By placing an order or sending a round, you agree to them. If you have a question about anything here, email brian@teetowall.com.
Orders and proofs
You place an order in the plotting tool: you plot your round (or, for a print of a hole alone, pick the hole), choose your print and pay at checkout. Your order is confirmed when the payment goes through, and we email you a confirmation with your order number.
We email you a digital proof within 2 business days of your order (or of receiving the details, if they come later). You can ask for changes; up to 2 rounds of changes are included. If you don't approve the proof before we print, or before we send the file for a digital-only order, we refund you in full. We may decline an order, for example if we cannot map the course accurately; we tell you why and refund you in full.
Prices and payment
Prices are listed on the site in U.S. dollars, plus sales tax where it applies. Prices may change, but the total on the checkout page when you pay is the price of your order. Payment is taken when you order and is handled by Stripe, our payment processor. We never see your full card number, and we never ask for card details by email.
Shipping, returns and replacements
Shipping times, returns and replacements are covered in our shipping and returns policy, which is part of these terms. In short: delivery times and what happens if we are late, free shipping to the lower 48 states, a full refund if you don't approve the proof, no change-of-mind returns after you approve it, and a free replacement for anything that arrives damaged or does not match your approved proof.
What you send us
You may send us plotted shots, names, dates, messages, photos, and data from apps like Garmin or Arccos. You confirm you have the right to share it, and that anyone named or pictured is happy to appear on the print. You keep ownership of what you send. You give us permission to use it to make, proof, and deliver your order.
We will only show your print, name, or photos in our own marketing, such as the website or social media, if you say yes: by ticking the box when you order, or when we ask. You can withdraw that yes at any time by email, and we take it down from our own pages. Please do not send anything offensive, unlawful, or that belongs to someone else, such as a club logo you do not have permission to use.
How accurate the maps are
Our maps are built from OpenStreetMap course data, U.S. Geological Survey elevation, and public aerial imagery, combined with the shot locations you plot. These sources are good but not perfect, and courses change. Yardages on a print are measured between the points you plotted; on a print of a hole alone, the yardage under the title is the one you give us from the scorecard. The proof is your chance to check the layout and every detail before anything is printed. Once you approve it, the print will match the proof.
Our designs
The design, layout, and style of every Tee to Wall print and file belong to us. When you buy a print or a digital file, you may keep it, display it, give it as a gift, and make copies for personal use. You may not resell our designs, use them in a product or service, or remove the credits printed on them. Course data on the prints is used under the Open Database License and credited to OpenStreetMap contributors.
Using the site and plotting tool
Please use the site for its intended purpose. Do not try to disrupt it, copy it in bulk, or use it to collect other people's information. The plotting tool saves your progress on your own device. It may be unavailable at times, and we may change or improve it.
Not affiliated
Tee to Wall is independent. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any golf course, club, governing body, or by Garmin, Arccos, or any other device or app maker. Course names are used only to describe where your round was played, or which hole a print shows.
Limits of our responsibility
We stand behind our prints as described in the shipping and returns policy. Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows, our total responsibility for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not responsible for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version in effect when you place an order is the one that applies to that order. We will change the date at the top of this page when we make an update.
